The story told in this video takes around seven minutes to tell. But it will haunt you for much longer.
What do you make of this story? About the commentary on the story? About what it says about technology? About us as a society? About our notions of morality? And, indeed, about how violence and criminality gets legitimized in the confused clash of all of the above?
It’s wrong to say that her uncle did not ‘perform’ his duty toward the young girl. She was simply seduced by a boy and misled. The latter happenings followed by default.
In our culture it is hard to survive the ignominy brought to the family by a wayward amorous girl who is so mean and selfish that she totally ignores the pain and agony of disgrace that her actions would bring to other members of the family. What choice other than gettin rid of a black sheep did her uncle have being put to utter disgrace in his family and people??
The champions of women rights should either condemn such indecent conduct of women which neither conforms to the norms of the society or Islam OR wait until society changes for good to meet the Western standards and life style!
I agree that the girl had made a ‘natural’ mistake (prematurely) and in a very disgraceful manner….truly speaking it was for her to shoot down her shameless paramor!
Someone said Technology is neutral. But its not.
It’s true we cannot blame technology but what we can do indeed is to educate our society about the dangers of misuse of technology – the incident discussed in the video is not the first one and won’t be the last! Unfortunately, some quarters of our male youth/adult do not indulge in such activities for the sake of vengeance, jealousy or to teach a lesson but for the sake of fun or to show off their exploits, not realizing their actions can destroy lives of many people.
The incident they were discussing was very serious one, involving the death of a young soul and her family’s humiliation but in the video I did not find the third person’s interjections very funny – these guys need to be taught how to present certain sensitive issues otherwise …

– ” I am NOT saying that her uncle should not be punished… an i also said that pain of that girl and uncle….Uncle,by and girl are were to be punished…BUT HER UNCLE HAD NO RIGHT TO MURDER HER…Court had right to punish that boy and girl if they willingly did DOMETHING wrong”
– “I am sorry but I have NO sympathy for the murderer. Nor am I going to join you in blaming the victim (the girl). Which is what you are doing!”
This is gut wrenching indeed.
But this is not about technology, this is about us as a society.
