Adil Najam

The story told in this video takes around seven minutes to tell. But it will haunt you for much longer.

What do you make of this story? About the commentary on the story? About what it says about technology? About us as a society? About our notions of morality? And, indeed, about how violence and criminality gets legitimized in the confused clash of all of the above?

@ funky: I dont blame Islam (or any other religion) for these issue, but at the same time I do not see how Islam (or any other religion) is solving these issues either!

Everyone is jahil in this whole story.

the couple who were involved in sins
the person who uploaded this video
    journalists who published the news
and the uncle who murdered the girl.

and above all, all the educated people who using this story as a weapon to attack and criticise other people.

they all are jahil. and so we all are. all literate pakistani people. divided in two groups. calling each other religious fanatics or be-sharam kafirs.

you all are jahil. you all have lost the way and the limits showed to you. you all filthy minded people use stories of some poor people to utter out the filth you have in your minds against each other. you all have no sympathy with the uneducated poor people.

and the clowns in this video too. using it to convey a very different message to their audience.

dont open the secret of other people

they use these type of stories as a Transferrance, an emotional story to convey a very different message.

    what message I get ?

1- dont watch news specially those where some media people openly discussing the secrets of our politicians and thier filthy past.

2- try to create a negative image of the meda

3- make you feel ashamed as a nation and have doubts about your religion.

These type of accidents happen every where in the world. regardless of the religion, values ethics.

this is not islam which is causing all these problems. but all these problems due to not following the principles and the guidance.

@ Adnan Siddiqui: Brazilians are considered the most stress free poeple in the world…why? primarily becuase they dont care what others think of them and they dont judge others’ by their harmless acts. For other reasons, do your own research

Going back to the original issue, those journalist published this story because this kind of spicy material is what the public demands and journalists have to make living by selling their story…whose fault is that?… I would say that its our culture that keeps people away from “fun” stuff and thus make its scarce and eye brows raise everytime such stuff comes in the news…if people were allowed to live their lives they way they want without anyone caring, do you think this murder would have occurred.

Adnan Siddiqi, please dont ya come and tell me that we are humans…have you ever been in a crowded public bus as a young boy? It is common for some sexually frustraded man to come behind you and start pleasing himself. Then there are stories of people who have been caught molesting chickens and sheeps in the same column where this girls story was posted,,.IS THAT HUMAN? Get you facts straighten up before you act like a self proclaimed contractor to fix the morality in society…be practical!

Very well said HMD. I was going to make a post along the same lines, but I don’t think I could have said it as well as you did. It’s unfortunate how often the voices of the extreme groups drown out the voices of the moderate ones.
