I am sure many of our readers will get it right away but for some ‘shehri baboos’ like me, it will be a challenge to figure out what’s cooking. I admit that I could not guess myself, until I read the caption that came with the original photo. Answer to this quiz will be revealed in comments below a little while later.

A witch’s potion
I think these guys are making ‘kheer’ for a ceremony – just like ‘degs’ are cooked for wedding ceremonies etc
what a nostalgia yep they are making “gur” ( گڑ ) desi sugar i guess this use to be done more in Punjab then any other province.
and in the background is “bamboo tree” ( بانس ) not bhang :)
speaking of sugar i was watching this video on youtube well just watch great video “ATP” if you like it please put it on Facebook.

There is plenty of creativity can be seen in this picture. My super visual ability tells me that a wide pan is used as a catalyst to allow faster evaporation. Dried bushes of Sugar cane (seen in the background) and marijuana (kidding) plants are used as a feul and the stylist guy holding on tightly to his huqqa pipe, doesnt want to pass it on to his comrade, who is freezing.
Gur
Confession, I peeked other answers.
I like the style of the guy stirring the pot. With a huqqa in one hand and stirrer in the other there is a lot of ‘style/character’ here
