The much fussed Long March to Islamabad ended without any concrete changes. Though it left behind many speculations, good, bad and a few worst.
I was flickring through pictures when this picture sent me in a fit of laughter. Irony and Spirit: All Together.
Apart from the brilliant idea to get a clear and uninterrupted view of the dais/stage, I wonder how they managed to climb the huge signboard – that too with flags.
Waqayi (truly):
“Shauq daa koi mol nayii’n.”
Interests are priceless.

Actually these guys were off to fly fishing. Somehow they got stranded on top of a sign board.
So much for riding on a flying carpet. Bad precident.
Bhai, you don’t have to be a lawyer to want justice and strong institutions for Pakistan.
Are these guys lawyers? Are they mocking the whole idea of safety and the laws intended to ensure safety? Quite representative of the interesting contradictions of the lawyers movement in Pakistan.
I think Long March was just a march. Nothing meaningful has resulted so far….or only peoples’ pleasures….
Good one.
I think a better translation of “shauq” here would be “pleasures” instead of “interests”
