I find this photograph very interesting for at least 5 reasons. Can you say what you find interesting in this photo and then maybe we can compare notes?
Also of interest for qulfi/kulfi lovers at ATP: here and here.

Allah and Mohammad(saw) on the corners just reflect two things:
1-Secularism is not possible in Pakistan due to deep influence of religion in Pakistani society hence secularist dreams should look for some other habit.
2-Halal Dating
I like Homer Kahn’s list.
Love the red cricket cap too.
The meaning here could be rather vulgar, no?
From the picture, that woman could beat up this guy. her head is twice the size of his head … I guess that is why he needs a qulfi to ‘say’ what is on his mind… ha ha ha ha
1. A great example of kitsch art.
2. Manages to combine love, ice cream, and loving ice cream.
3. Reminder to Ben and Jerry’s that they were not the first to do the above (take that, Peace Pops!)
4. Great reminder that qulfi is with a qaaf not a kaaf.
5. References so many Pakistani cultural paradigms: religion (note corners); sharm (“qulfi bolay woh baat jo aap na bol sakein”- classic); and self-promotion (Mr. Asif Naeem, prop., has thoughtfully included his mobile number. For what? Home delivery?)
