Ok guys! Do you want to make your predictions for tomorrow’s result in Pakistan versus Australia Test match?

For soccer lovers, the cricket match is currently poised at a situation like this: Chasing what would be a record breaking total of 440, Pakistan needs 326 more runs to win with 9 wickets in hand. Two long English summer days are left to be played and possibly 188 overs to be bowled.

So now the question is: ‘ye ooNt kis karwat bethe ga?’ (what will be the result?)

I’ll make the first prediction to get the ball rolling. My heart says Pakistan will be able to pull it through because they are currently well poised at 114 for 1. But! and there is a ‘But’ – which is Salman But – who is currently not out at 58, meiN samajhta hooN ke (my mind says) it will be difficult. Most likely Pakistan will do good for 200 or more runs and then as the target will start to appear within reach, a sudden batting collapse may happen – sounds familiar? Some of my friends may call me ‘kaali zubaan’ for predicting as such but to them I want to recite a couplet from a famous ghazal:

ar raahbar-e-kamil chalne ko tayyaar to hooN par yaad rahe
os waqt mujhe bhatkaa dena jab saamnay manzil aa jaaye

A calculated game plan can win this match for Pakistan. We need 1 century (almost 150+) and 2 fifties (almost 70+) to win or atleast add some fighting thrill in this game..

How many times does a man get a chance to be immortalized in history?
    The answer. Not many.

If Pakistan win, it will be the effort of one individual. It could be Slaman Butt, could be Umar or Kamran Akmal, could be Afridi, but rest assured, it will be one individual. Otherwise, we will lose by 140 odd runs.

As someone who commented above said, its a mental game now. if the Pakistani players are mentally tough, they will pull through, otherwise no.

So who will write their name in history?
    No one from Pakistan.

We have seen Pakistan fail to reach much easier targets too often in recent years. The highest they have ever done is 315 to beat Australia in Karachi with the last wicket in, and Inzamam standing firm. One would love to see a win, but realistically, the chances are almost nil.

When did Pakistan ever score even 300 plus in the fourth innings to win a test match? This is the worst test side in my memory or perhaps in the history of Pakistan.
Both of the openers including Butt, Afridi, Kamran, Malik (even though he is not playing which is good) have a mediocre batting average of low 30’s or less. None of them would be selected in any other test side in the world on their batting ability.
Pakistan had two world class batsmen, Yousuf and Younus. However, the team is cleansed of them and full of average players. Yousuf has a test average higher than any Pakistani batsman in its history. Younus is not far behind but the team is full of mediocrity and politicians.
The reason Pakistan’s second innings got a good start is the wicket became easy with the weather. That is why the last four Australians were playing their best innings of their lives. Pakistani batsmen have almost matched the Australian tail! As soon as the weather gets cloudy it would be all over soon otherwise it would only prolong the agony.

Sorry but the past records and the numbers do not lie.

hell no…..u r day dreaming again

    get a life…
