Dear Readers,
While All Things Pakistan has remained alive and online, it has been dormant since June 11, 2011 - when, on the blog's 5th anniversary, we decided that it was time to move on. We have been heartened by your messages and the fact that a steady traffic has continued to enjoy the archived content on ATP. While the blog itself will remain dormant, we are now beginning to add occasional (but infrequent) new material by the original authors of the blog, mostly to archive what they may now publish elsewhere. We will also be updating older posts to make sure that new readers who stumble onto this site still find it useful.
We hope you will continue to find ATP a useful venue to reflect upon and express your Pakistaniat. - Editors
I did not know a bowler could fly like that!
Feel sorry for the crouched batter facing him. Ball raining down from a height of up to 9, 10, 11 ft. ‘Gulla’ can practically mark his own spot where to land the ball.
Talent, sheer talent of Pakistan cricketers, a new team, with so much detractions the the nation something to cheer with this real amazing win.
Umar Gul at his best of course
About match fixing/spot fixing, it may be true as higher authorities up to top want “Bhatha” (comission) and share from high profile appointees.
Our younger players seems to oblige otherwise they might be out of team as spot fixing is very limited and quick and does not affect match results much. A real Satta(gamble) to make big money in minutes
It was great win yesterday. Unfortunately British Teboloid have already started maligning stating that this match was fix. Although England collapsed dramatically yesterday, but they insist that Pakistan players have fixed this match… really absured….I would say PCB and players should sue these papers to keep their mouth shut.
Must confess, I am trying hard not to even follow this series – whether we win or not. But the pictures and Umar’s performance did bring a little smile on my face :-)
What a great set of photos!
